The New Forest School Sport Partnership Professional Learning is a key development programme to support New Forest schools and the wider profession to maintain and enhance high quality physical education (PE) within their work context.

We have a dedicated team of highly skilled trainers who work nationally and internationally to ensure that all PE professionals receive the best physical education related professional development. Our aim is to raise the quality of teaching, coaching and learning in PE and sport to raise the attainment of all pupils. Our programme of professional learning provides opportunities in physical education for headteachers, teachers, teaching assistants, adults supporting learning (ASL) and sports coaches.

Our aim is to enable practitioners have the tools and expertise they need to deliver high quality PE and sport.

The professional learning offered through the New Forest School Sport Partnership is always delivered by high quality effective deliverers such as Tim Dancer (Create Development Creative Director), Mandy Quill (Create Development Lead Tutor, South), Sarah Moon (Create Development ‘real gym’ national lead), Debbie Richardson (Director of Dynamo Gymnastics Club & Level 5 Gymnastics Coach) and Donna Ramus (Educational Advisor in PE and Dance).

The real PE programme provides fun and simple to follow Schemes of Work and support for Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 practitioners that give them the confidence and skills to deliver outstanding PE. It is fully aligned to the new National Curriculum and Ofsted requirements and focuses on the development of agility, balance and coordination, healthy competition and cooperative learning through a unique and market leading approach to teaching and learning in PE.

real Gym

real Gym is an innovative, vibrant and inclusive programme which supports teachers to become competent and confident to deliver gymnastic activities and create rounded learners.  Click here to view more information on the real gym philosophy and concept.

Learning Nutrition (real PE day 4) real pe logo

A simple teaching and learning framework, tool and training that will empower the subject leader to further support all staff to become outstanding in the teaching of PE.  Subject leader or individual(s) responsible for raising standards of teaching and learning in PE across the school. Must have attended real PE training.

Family FUNS

Helping families play and learn together whilst supporting children to develop the physical literacy, emotional and thinking skills to achieve in PE and life.  ff-slider-new_1Family FUNS is a unique early intervention programme to bring schools and families together, ensuring consistent messages and promoting positive parenting habits to develop essential learning behaviours. Family FUNS aims to increases physical activity levels, promote positive parenting habits and improve learning behaviours of children.
